I probably sampled 300 records to make it. Pause is all samples. Everything’s Ecstatic is all samples. They all are. But no one has ever caught on to that.

Domino Records will be releasing a re-issue of Four Tet’s seminal album, Rounds to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album’s release on May 13th. The re-issue will include the original release’s 10 tracks and a recording of a live show from Copenhagen Denmark, recorded around the time of Rounds initial release. “As Serious As Your Life” is the first single from the re-issue and it has the use of 808 synths beats, hot cymbals, an infectious, funky bass line and atmospheric computerized glitches.

Red Bull Academy enlisted Four Tet for a May 8th set at Webster Hall and guaranteed you’ll hear a ton of stuff from his extensive catalog.
